No, I wasn't. Circle line parties have been running (unofficially) for a long time without incident (as far as I'm aware), but it's not really my scene, and there's no way I'd have gone along to that one. I don't really like big crowds, or events where the primary objective is drinking. In fact, people drinking alcohol on public transport is one of my pet peeves - I even feel uncomfortable when it's my friends doing it. So I'll let Boris go ahead with this, without comment or criticism from me. I just hope that the same will be said for all his mayoral decisions... ;-)
I imagine every NZer in London was in attendance...
In the footage I saw, it all looked fairly orderly. Only seventeen arrests? But then, maybe I have low expectations. Have a look at this, from my home town. Oh, the shame.
